North Carolina General Statutes Section 150B-21.3A requires all states agencies, including the occupational licensing boards, to review the NC Administrative Code every ten years. In accordance with this Statute, The Board had made an initial determination as to whether each rule is necessary or not. The Board invites public comments on its initial determinations from November 30, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
Public Comment is defined by GS 150B-21.3A(a)(5) as a written objection to all or part of a rule. Also, pursuant to GS 150B-21.3A(c)(2), in order for the Rules Review Commission to determine if the public comment has merit, the comment must address the specific substance of the rule and address any of the standards of Commission review as set forth in GS 140B-21.9(a).
