EPA Proposes to Cut HFCs

The EPA is proposing a new rule, available here to restrict HFC use, starting January 1, 2025. The limits for refrigeration equipment will be based on Global Warming Potential and can be seen in Tabe 4 on page 118.

The ruling was published in the Federal Register on December 15 and has an open comment period of 45 days.
