GovernorRoy Cooper has appointed Dr. Jacky Rosati Rowe to fill the position of a member from the field of public health with an environmental science background from an accredited college or university located in this State.

Dr. Rosati Rowe is a Supervisory Environmental Engineer in the U.S. EPA’s Office of Research and Development. She earned her PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of NC, a MS in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and a BS in Civil Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Dr. Rosati Rowe’s research focuses on indoor air quality and the Built environment, aerosol science and inhalation toxicology. She is also an adjunct professor at UNC in Chapel Hill.

The Board would like to thank Kim Haley for her service to the Board. Kim served as chairman during the time the Board automated renewals and up-dated the website.
